Dear Guests,
Unfortunately, you will have to be patient with booking for the 2025 season this year. We urgently need a more efficient and simple booking system without online check-in. Please sign up for our newsletter below to be the first to know when bookings are available again. For the first time in 5 years, we are planning to open for Easter from 17th April until 15th September. However, we cannot guarantee this yet.
2024 has been an interesting year. We successfully introduced the visitor’s tax, with Kurkarten (visitor passes) even being sent out automatically from July onwards. In July, we also received our last gas delivery for the South Sanitary building. We only filled the tank to 50% so that in 2025, we can operate this building emission-free as well.
Here are our planned updates for 2025:
Sustainability
- Acquisition of the first electric cars, possibly a commercial vehicle with a flatbed
- Replacing the gas heating with electric heating in the South Sanitary building
- Compared to the reference year 2019, we will have already reduced our emissions by more than 90%. By 2026, we aim for an ambitious zero-emission target.
- Learn more about this on our sustainability page
Efficiency
- New booking system still to be decided (but without mandatory check-in)
- Payment option at the terminal (for payment cards)
- Second wastewater pump (to reduce disruptions)
- Some plots will be reassigned
- 117 to caravan M with water connection
- 245/249 will revert to caravan pitches
- 456 tent pitch XS
- 839 motorhome M
- Possibly additional parking spaces for second cars
- Two street lights will be relocated, possibly some power distributors on Block 3
Quality
- A mini sanitary facility in the East on pitch 351, halving the maximum distance to the WC
- Our recycling station will get a new concrete floor and drainage
- Potentially water connections for the large motorhome pitches 303-310 or 326-335
Staff Changes
- We welcome our seasonal workers: Mathilda plus X.
News from the Municipality of Hohenkirchen in 2025
In 2024, a mobile phone mast was erected between Hohenkirchen and our campsite, costing approximately 1 million euros after 7 years of planning. Unfortunately, the planning overlooked a power line and internet connection. As a result, the mobile signal will not function until these lines are installed. We do not expect improvements until 2026/27. In the meantime, you can admire the mast by walking 100 metres into the water and looking towards Tamila Beach Bar.
Regarding the speed limit on the L01, a positive decision was made to reduce speed, though it was not implemented in 2024.
We hope for significant global improvements and an end to the conflict in Ukraine, and kindly ask for your support in our efforts towards sustainability.
