  Withdrawn from the programme in 2022 due to poor performance and lack of maintenance.
  We cancelled this free service for our guests in summer 2022. We were happy to pay €4,000 for immediate cancellation of the contract and immediate collection of the machines.
• Freenet (mobile telephony)

  It’s not just that even as a business customer with more than 6 mobile phone contracts you are greeted by Dieter Bohlen every time,
  unfortunately there is no chance of meeting employees at Freenet who can solve problems. The problem is not the employees, but the complicated Freenet system. Employees have no chance of solving problems. Even if they escalate to management level. As a result of the chaos and errors in contracts, we have lost telephone numbers for many years. We had to deal with lawyers and debt collection companies due to incorrect invoices. In the end, we were in the right, but we went to a lot of trouble and lost a phone number.
  We have since returned to Telekom, which offers a very reliable service despite all the criticism.

• Paypal

  Paypal’s behaviour is typical of monopolists. This is reflected in poor contract conditions, high costs (around 3.2%) and poor customer service. Written statements can only be obtained via a chat tool which deletes statements after 90 days at the latest. It took us months to get hold of older messages.

  For this reason, we are temporarily switching off this payment option and hope that our competitors will grow. We have high hopes for the digital euro and the Wero alternative.

• camping.care (booking system)

  camping.care operates one of the most modern campsite management systems in the cloud in Europe. Unfortunately, communication is inadequate right from the start. Instead of working efficiently with a ticket system and dealing with problems from the ground up, the developers spend a lot of their time on the phone trying to support the system via email. Unfortunately, the developers also get bogged down with priorities and constantly provide new functions with poor quality instead of finalising existing functions.
  The current version 2 (starfish) has many teething problems and important functions are still missing. The APPS, the API and much more from V1 are no longer compatible. Unfortunately, the site plan in particular has undergone the biggest changes and therefore has the most errors.
  Version 1, which we still use today, has not been developed further for 2 years. This is a great pity and you often have to take a deep breath.
  Nevertheless, there are many things that we really like about camping.care.

  Many processes can be automated and guests can check in and out automatically. The system works more or less like an online shop, whereby you can book exactly where you want.
  Unfortunately, no standard ERP software or web shop was chosen as the basis, but everything was programmed in-house. As a result, there are of course many more problems with accounting and conversion tracking, which are extremely difficult to programme in retrospect.
  Since we started using Resavio, there are a few things that we appreciate even more. Camping.care was fast and very efficient and very easy to automate. With Resavio, we are currently experiencing some setbacks in these areas.

• Mobile radio

  There’s not much to say on this topic, as you can’t rely on mobile communications here. It’s better in winter, higher is better, it’s also better on the beach. Otherwise, a strong tip: activate telephony via WLAN.

• County/county office:

  We are conveniently located right on the beach between Boltenhagen and Wismar.
  Nevertheless, every road in the neighbourhood can be safer and quieter. Speed limits help with this. We would be pleased if the legal framework conditions were more flexible here. When it comes to further improvements, including a traffic light at the junction, the district (Nordwestmecklenburg, primarily responsible), the county (Grevesmühlen) and our municipality are pushing the ball around without improving the situation. We think that is a great pity.
