Direct at the baltic sea beach

Our idyllic campsite is located in a scenic setting by the sea between woods and meadows and is crossed by a small stream called Ostseequelle.

Our campsite offers various accommodation options and has modern, upmarket facilities. Our 4-star campsite has recently received several awards from the ADAC and Camping.info. We have a total of over 250 pitches on an area of around 7 hectares.

All our pitches are on well-kept lawns. This and the low location by the sea, but with an interesting terraced topography and drainage ditches, lead to restrictions regarding vehicle weight and type. You therefore have a particularly good view of the sea to the west on the beach road and to the south.

Availability and prices are only available on this website. Bookings and payments can also only be made here and online.

The campsite is close to the Baltic Sea between Boltenhagen and Wismar. To get to the 3.5 km long sandy beach of the Wohlenberger Wiek, you walk past our entrance about 30 m towards the sea, just cross a road and you are already standing in the fine sand. The bay has very shallow water, is always 2 degrees warmer and therefore ideal for children. In the southern area of the Wohlenberger Wiek there is a spacious kite and windsurfing area.

It is worth mentioning that you can also find shells and seaweed on our natural beach. The regularly washed up seaweed is removed about every 4 weeks, for which the municipality takes a local fee.

The Wohlenberger Wiek is a bay in the western part of the Wismar Bay, named after the village of Wohlenberg, a district of Klütz. It has a shallow water zone up to 300 metres wide and a shallow, fine-sand coast with dunes in the southern part. The bay is bordered by the Tarnewitzer Huk and the Hohen Wieschendorf Huk.

Dogs are welcome at the campsite, but only one dog per pitch in the high season. There is also a dog beach near the campsite.

Our guests come to us to relax here in the peace and quiet of nature on the Baltic Sea coast, to watch their children playing in the shallow water or their dog romping on the dog beach. Our guests are also happy to use our bicycle rental service and explore the hilly and beautiful surroundings via the Baltic Sea coast cycle path located directly in front of the campsite. In the evening, many guests end the day watching the sunset on the beach or on the sun terrace of our Italian restaurant with a pizza and a glass of wine.

Check-In & Barrier

Pitches from 1pm & rentals from 4pm

Early arrival is possible by booking the day before!

Pitches:

  • The barrier currently only opens with online check-in via the
    self-service (directly linked in many emails), from 14 days before arrival
  • You can then drive directly to your pitch without registering.
  • One vehicle is allowed per pitch.
  • The barrier opens automatically when you enter your vehicle registration number in your booking. Cyclists and hikers simply enter ‘no car’ or ‘bicycle’ when booking. For hire cars, please enter ‘hire car’ and submit the licence plate number later.

Accommodation:

  • You will receive your key at the information office next to the barrier (blue house) from 4-6 pm.
  • Later arrivals are possible by prior arrangement.

Availability, prices, and bookings are available to you only online through our booking system. You can select your preferred pitch for free using the interactive map.

  • Please note our guidelines for group bookings (more than two households).
  • Dogs: Depending on the season and type of accommodation, we allow a maximum of two pets, more.
  • Depending on the season, there may be minimum stays for certain categories. Try different options.
